Air Display 2 App Reviews

New version is very unstable. I used v1 for 2 year and it was awesome. They suggest to upgrade to V2 since v1 (~$10) was not available in Apps store anymore. V2 (~$12) is still buggy and now they said upgrade to v3 ($16.99) for a fix!!! Totally a scam! I dont recommend this vendor since they request money to fix their version every year. No benefit or special upgrade pricing for already customer.

The Wi-Fi option NEVER worked as advertised. Slooooooooooooow! And … now added the USB option (Thanks to this cool app, called duet!) but you’d have to pay more $$. Like I said … DELETED! DUET is doing fine here! ;)

This app is not worth it. It lags behind.

Doesnt work. For this price, I expect an app to work out of the box. I followed instructions, did troubleshooting and still end up with it losing connection to my iPad. Tok bad for no refunds. Terrible.

High CPU usage and lags when Im using the iPad as a spare monitor over Wi-Fi. Is not worth it.

少しもっさりなんで、Web閲覧ですらギリギリ許せるレベルです。twomonとかいうアプリはUSB経由で繋げられるのに…こっちもぜひ対応して欲しいですね。 にしてもクソソフトとか言ってる人は民度が低すぎる…日本の消費者、大丈夫ですか？ Its pretty laggy to a point where even browsing the web can be a bit of a pain. An app called TwoMon apparently allows USB connection so itd be nice if you could do the same here. Yes, Ive already ready read how you guys arent hardware makers so you dont have the proper something or other from to use USB. Still, Id really like that because its really slow.

Who is programming this stuff? I am using dedicated lan, even then the performance is extremely sluggish. Splashtop is a much better option. This software must be an embarrassment to whoever designed it. Apple should screen their app store much more carefully.

Win7 connect iPad mini, not work. Connect iPhone, not work. Only able to show things on mirror mode. Extend display fail.

The time lag is quite problematic as its not responsive. What is so funny about this developer is that when they update their app (enabling the usb cable function), they dont allow the version 2 users to update the app. The users are required to purchase the new version 3. Isnt it funny? No more deal with you Mr. Developer!

This is a very useful program, but there are some minor bugs. For example, if you accidentally click your home button on your iPad, when you try come back to the main screen, your iPad screen is blue, you cant see your desktop. Same thing happens if you rotate your iPad or if it connects automatically. I hope those bugs will be fixed as soon as possible. But it does still worth for buying it.

I have ipad air and i installed the program. But i can not make it run. It crushes every time when i try to run it.

Great app for extra desktop estate. I use it as a third monitor with my MacBook Pro and a 48" HDMI TV monitor.

I have bought AirDisplay to share screen with Windows 7 (64 bit). I have downloaded desktop version of AirDisplay in order to connect with my iPad, but it is impossible to install it properly on Windows (some errors). I asked them for help but support keep silent...

Installation is very problematic since AirDisplay 2 doesnt support nVidia Optimus technology. That requires switching main graphic card in my laptop. Moreover, after connecting iPad and computer (Win 7 64 bit) Apple device becomes a primary display instead of be an extension to laptop screen. Too bad it looked really good on you tube. I have to say that technical support from Avatron works very good. Nice and honest people.
